Tidy up
Duplicates and automated senders, mostly from the HubSpot import.
Keep your contacts and companies clean: merge duplicates and clear out records that aren't real people or clients. How it works
- The Studio finds these for you. Nothing is merged or removed until you press the button on each card.
- Merging moves every email, deal, note and task onto the record you keep (the one ticked), then removes the others.
- Removing takes away the ticked records. Untick anything you want to keep first. Emails stay on the company's activity.
- Old prospects are listed because UK data protection rules say you should only keep cold leads as long as you need them.

Probably not people
Contacts that look like automated senders or software companies' mailing addresses (newsletters, notifications, no-reply). Untick any you want to keep.
Nothing to tidy
Probably not real companies
Software companies, newsletters and spam senders (mostly brought across from HubSpot) with no deals, projects, invoices or proposals. Removing one also removes its contacts; their emails stay in the activity log. Untick any you want to keep.
Nothing to tidy
Old prospects
Leads nobody has worked with, untouched for 24 months or more (change this in Settings, under Data protection). Keeping cold leads only as long as you need them is part of UK data protection rules.
