Contract templates
The wording each new contract starts from. Editing a template never changes contracts that have already been sent.
The standard wording your contracts start from: one for client projects, care plans, confidentiality (NDA) and partners. How it works
- When a client accepts a proposal, their contract is drafted for you from the Website and branding services agreement (you can switch this off in Settings). You can also start any contract by hand from the Contracts page.
- Gaps like
{{client_name}}are filled in for you from the client, project and proposal. Open a template to see the full list. - Each time you change the wording, the version number goes up. Contracts already sent keep the wording they were sent with.
- Hidden templates stay on record but aren't offered when you start a new contract.
These starter templates were written fresh in plain English as a starting point. I'm not a lawyer: have a solicitor review them before you use them with clients, and update them here with any changes.
